For BBL, you need to have ‘mouldable fat reserves’ rather than being ‘thin’. Those with a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 23 and 30 are ideal candidates. For very thin patients, where there may not be sufficient fat to harvest, prosthetic or filler methods (composite BBL) may be recommended.
